ASSISTANT MANAGER - JIFFY LUBE MULTICARE

Position Purpose:

To ensure customers receives exceptional customer service, while providing complete, error free professional service for his/her vehicle and to maintain a pleasant, safe work environment.

• Assist Store Manager in day to day management duties.
• Manage store operation in absence of Store Manager.
• Resolve customer issues and drive customer service.
• Understand and comply with OSHA and EPA standards.
• Ensure employees perform required procedures and follow all policies as outlined in JTSS documentation.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are maintained, and deficiencies reported to area manager. 
• Handle personnel issues in absence of Store Manager in a professional manner, ie attendance, policy and performance issues. Document as necessary. 
• Ensure the store is opened and closed promptly. Arrive 15 min before open. 
• Assist Store Manager in training, leading and developing employees in accordance with JTSS guidelines.
• Assist in maintain proper inventory controls and levels. Ensure ordering process is maintained.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.

• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Open availability and weekends are required, and some holidays. 

Required Work Experience:   (Required to be considered for this position)

• Previous automotive shop management preferred. 
• Minimum 1 year in an assistant/ management role required.
• Previous service advisor/ write experience required. 
• ASE certifications preferred. 
• Sales Experience required. 

Education:

• High school diploma or a GED 
• Automotive technical school or equivalent experience preferred.
