General Manager - Upscale Seasonal Restaurant | $70K-$80K

A growing upscale seasonal restaurant concept is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its team in Collegeville, PA.

General Manager Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations and maintain high service standards
• Be highly visible on the floor and actively engage with guests and team members
• Lead, coach and develop managers and restaurant staff
• Recruit, hire, train and retain team members
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels and labor costs
• Handle guest concerns and ensure a positive dining experience
• Work closely with culinary leadership to ensure smooth FOH and BOH operations
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and service execution
• Manage reservations, floor plans, table management and service flow
• Oversee inventory, ordering and product rotation
• Monitor sales, labor and restaurant performance metrics
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cost control
• Manage P&L and financial performance
• Oversee cash handling, POS reporting and daily administrative responsibilities
• Support seasonal menu changes and team training
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional restaurant environment
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, alcohol and health regulations
• Promote a positive, accountable and team-oriented culture

Qualifications

• 3+ years of General Manager or comparable restaurant management experience
• Strong full-service restaurant experience
• Experience leading and developing multiple managers
• Proven experience with labor management, scheduling and cost control
• P&L and budgeting experience
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and financial performance
• Excellent guest service and communication skills
• Strong recruiting, training and team-development experience
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
• Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Excel and restaurant management software
• Hands-on leadership style with a strong presence on the restaurant floor
