Job Description
A precision machining company in Northeast Ohio is hiring two Blanchard grinder operators. Full time, direct hire.
The work is running Blanchard (rotary surface) grinders: setting up jobs, making adjustments, and checking your own parts with an outside micrometer.
What you will do:
- Set up and run Blanchard / rotary surface grinders
- Make adjustments at the machine to hold size and flatness
- Inspect your own parts with an outside micrometer
What you need:
- Grinding experience, ideally on Blanchard or rotary surface grinders
- Setup experience is a strong plus over load-and-unload only
- Comfortable reading an outside micrometer
- A steady work history. The owner is hiring for the long term and wants people who plan to stay.
Pay: $18.00 to $22.50 per hour, based on experience. Full time, permanent.
