Location: Cincinnati, OH
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (Occasional Saturday Rotation)
Assignment: Minimum 3-Month Contract with Potential for Permanent Hire

TEEMA is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Medical Office Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for patients in a busy outpatient clinic. If you enjoy helping others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excel at multitasking, we'd love to hear from you!
In this role, you'll support both patients and providers by ensuring the front office runs smoothly while delivering an exceptional patient experience from check-in through check-out.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and outstanding customer service.
- Complete patient registration, check-in, check-out, appointment scheduling, and rescheduling.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, referrals, and required documentation.
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, and self-pay balances accurately.
- Prepare, scan, upload, and maintain patient records, insurance cards, and other documentation.
- Create and update patient encounters within the electronic health record (EHR).
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route calls to the appropriate team members.
- Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient daily clinic operations.
- Reconcile daily payments, assist with end-of-day reporting, and support deposit preparation.
- Assist with medical records requests, disability paperwork, FMLA forms, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain patient confidentiality while following HIPAA, office policies, and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Medical office or patient-facing administrative experience is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable working with multiple computer systems and learning electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and a patient-first mindset.
- Willingness to travel between nearby clinic locations when needed and participate in an occasional Saturday rotation.
