VARIABLE PRODUCT ACCOUNTANT I

JOB DESCRIPTION
 
We are looking for a junior entry level 1-3 years work experience or a new graduate with degree in Accounting.
 
Must be able to work OT on a rotating monthly cycle.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Candidate will be responsible for the review of shareholder reports (including: financial statements, notes to financial statements, Schedules of Investments, Fair Value Measurements, Derivatives and other schedules for financial reporting), on quarterly basis.
• Candidate will assist with Transfer Agency functions (including fund share activity wires and outstanding share reconciliations), and updating daily unit prices for mutual funds and separate accounts.
• The candidate will also be responsible for audit confirmation reconciliation.

 
QUALIFICATIONS
 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, especially during quarterly financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong PC (Excel, Word and Access) skills.
• Knowledge of accounting and reporting for investments preferred.
• Research and problem-solving skills.
