Job Summary
The CT Technologist position is located in a general healthcare facility. This role involves performing a variety of imaging procedures, including CT scans, to support diagnostic and treatment processes within an acute care environment. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and care.

Job Details

• Certifications Required: BLS, ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist); preferred: ARRT - CT
• Education & Experience: Minimum of 1 year of CT experience. No license to submit required.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility.
• Shift: Rotating shifts, primarily 10-hour shifts, with a schedule of 8 or 10 hours depending on staffing needs, including every third or fourth weekend.
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Perform CT imaging procedures across various hospital departments including outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and surgical settings. Utilize Siemens 128-slice CT scanner, Siemens Ysio X-ray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC C-arm, and Hologic Mini-C equipment. Support coverage for CTA's (stroke-designated hospital), traumas, orthopedic joint imaging, and procedures, often working in emergent and busy clinical environments. May assist with radiology injections and biopsies, as training is provided for floating to different areas as needed.
• Additional Information: Must possess strong CT skills over mammography experience. EMR: EPIC; PACS: McKesson. The department is supported by a Radiology RN and a director available during daytime hours.
