Qualifications:

• Current and active Physical Therapy (PT) license in New York
• Solid understanding of pediatric physical therapy, preferably with experience in schools or similar pediatric settings
• Ability to adapt and individualize interventions for a range of ages and abilities
• Excellent communication skills to partner with educators, staff, and families
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a dynamic caseload

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to preschool and school-aged students in accordance with IEP goals
• Administer thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document ongoing progress
• Support students’ participation in the school setting through direct intervention, consultative services, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Educate staff members and families on strategies and equipment to promote student growth and independence
• Maintain clear and timely records to comply with district and state requirements

This contract runs through June 25, 2027, offering a steady, long-term assignment at 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Caseloads include both preschool and school-aged children, providing a varied and fulfilling professional experience.
