We are seeking a dedicated School Paraprofessional to join a supportive school district in Merrimack, New Hampshire. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with students and supporting their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

Position Details

• Location: Merrimack, NH

• Position: School Paraprofessional

• Schedule: Full-time

• Setting: School-based

• Grade Level: Based on district needs

• Onsite position

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group support to students

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities

• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

• Help implement IEP goals and behavior support plans

• Assist with classroom management and student supervision

• Track and document student progress as directed

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers

• Provide additional support with transitions, activities, and daily routines as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience working with children or students preferred

• School-based or special education experience is a plus

• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills

• Ability to work effectively with students with a variety of learning and behavioral needs

• Must meet all district and New Hampshire paraprofessional requirements
