Medical Claims Analyst

Pay Rate: $25–$28 per hour
Schedule: once a week in NYC Midtown Office

​A Medical Claims Representative is responsible for reviewing, processing, and ensuring the accuracy of healthcare insurance claims and related medical documentation. This role focuses on accurate data entry, insurance verification, and proper handling of claims in accordance with payer guidelines and healthcare regulations.

The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret medical and insurance documents, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting purposes. The role supports timely and accurate reimbursement of healthcare services while maintaining strict compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, enter, and process medical insurance claims accurately
• Extracting and interpreting Contracts
• Maintain accurate records and tracking using Microsoft Excel
• Monitor claim status and update reports regularly

Required Skills

• Strong data entry accuracy in high-volume environments
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas preferred)
• Ability to interpret medical and insurance documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
