Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Paraprofessional in a school setting
- Strong ability to support students with autism, preferably Level 3 or similar behavioral needs
- Calm, patient demeanor with a commitment to supporting intensive behavioral and educational interventions
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Ability to implement individualized education plans and follow directions closely
- Flexible and adaptive approach within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with Level 3 Autism during instructional and non-instructional periods
- Assist teachers in implementing individualized education and behavioral programs
- Foster a safe, structured, and positive learning atmosphere for all students
- Support students in developing social, academic, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation as needed
