ProCare Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist in San Jose, CA!

Ready for a new school-based opportunity in the Bay Area? ProCare Therapy is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school team serving an elementary caseload for the current 2026–2027 school year.

Position Highlights

• SchoolLocation: San Jose, CA

• Position: Occupational Therapist

• Setting: Elementary school

• Caseload: Elementary students

• Schedule: Full-time

• Start Date: ASAP

• Pay: $60+/hour, based on experience

• Current 2026–2027 school year

• Collaborative school-based team

• Work directly with students to support participation, independence, and success in the school environment

• ProCare support throughout the hiring and onboarding process

California OT Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Active California Occupational Therapist license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy

• Required OT education and supervised fieldwork

• Successful completion of the NBCOT examination

• Ability to meet California Board of Occupational Therapy licensing requirements (Board of Occupational Therapy)

Good to know: California does not currently require OTs working in public schools to hold a separate CTC services credential. (Physical Therapy Board of California)
