What You'll Be Doing

• Perform laboratory testing and analysis to support patient diagnostics and healthcare outcomes.
• Process and prepare biological samples according to established laboratory procedures.
• Utilize laboratory instrumentation and equipment to perform routine testing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory results.
• Support quality control and quality assurance activities.
• Troubleshoot test performance issues and document corrective actions when needed.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, calibration, and laboratory organization.
• Collaborate with Scientists, Technologists, and laboratory teams to ensure accurate and timely results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong laboratory skills gained through academic, internship, research, or industry experience.
• Knowledge of biology, chemistry, and laboratory testing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience through industry work, internships, undergraduate research, or academic laboratory courses.
• Experience with sample preparation, quality control, or laboratory instrumentation.
• 1-3 years of laboratory experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
