Job Details
- Location: The position is based at a healthcare facility requiring coverage in diagnostic imaging.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; Radiologic Technologist Certification from the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent accrediting body); California State Radiologic Technologists License; Registered Radiographer; 5 years recent CT experience; current CPR card; proficiency in X-ray and CT scans.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week; flexible to work some holidays, including NOC and weekend shifts; on-call rotation may be required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of an Associate of Science or Associate of Arts Degree in a related field or acceptable equivalent experience; experience with Seven Medical PACS / RIS; familiarity with Athena Health EHR.
- Responsibilities: Perform imaging procedures independently or under supervision per department protocols; maintain compliance with hospital policies; communicate clearly with team members; adapt to changing workload demands; uphold safety standards related to exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissues.
- Certifications: Must have valid CA-Radiologic Technologist Cert and CA Fluoro Cert preferred; CT Certification required; must be proficient in X-ray and CT scans.
- Additional Information: The position may involve working in varying shifts including day, evening, and night, with the possibility of on-call coverage to support department needs.
