Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 26-week assignment requiring NYS licensure and ARRT (CT) certification plus contrast injection experience.
Details
- Community hospital setting within the CT Scan department
- 3x12-hour day shifts
- Every 3rd weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- No block scheduling considered for this assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year CT/PET experience required
- NYS license required if applicable, and ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Contrast injection experience required
- GE scanner experience preferred
- Must have own vehicle
- Ability to obtain intravenous access
Additional Information
- Perform a variety of CT procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed techniques for diagnosis
- Capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required
- Basic computer skills required
- Prioritize and organize daily workflow effectively
- Personal scrubs of any color permitted, no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
- No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and must be requested prior to upload
- Facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2-hour notice
- Previous or current travel experience strongly encouraged
- COVID vaccination strongly encouraged but not required
