Long Term Care Bus/Van Driver

Birkwood Village–Ft. Madison/Montrose Health Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable, Full-time driver to support our residents at both locations. This role offers 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling based on demand.

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and other essential visits
• Ensure a comfortable, respectful, and dignified ride experience for all residents
• Call clinics and providers to schedule appointments, confirm details, and coordinate transportation needs
• Follow up on upcoming and completed appointments to ensure continuity of care
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly and professionally over the phone
• Embrace and uphold the mission and values of Birkwood Village/Montrose Health Center each day

• Ability to lift and/or push 50 lbs or more
• Valid Chauffeur's License
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background screening
• Availability primarily between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with potential for additional call-in hours (bonus pay available for after-hours transport)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate well when speaking with clinics, families, and staff
