Responsibilities
- Function as scrub, circulating, or float nurse in the operating room as assigned, supporting efficient case flow.
- Participate in site identification and time-out processes for each case, ensuring surgical safety standards.
- Provide optimal physical and emotional environment for patients across age groups (adolescent, adult, geriatric) with appropriate assessments and care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital-wide and departmental policies, infection control, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Rotate to PACU, Outpatient Endoscopy Unit, and Central Service as assigned; perform other duties as needed to support the OR team.

Requirements
- Age-specific competency: provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, with appropriate safety and dosing considerations.
- Ability to function as scrub, circulating, or float nurse in the operating room as assigned.
- Willingness to rotate to PACU, Outpatient Endoscopy Unit, and Central Service as part of the assignment.
- Commitment to adherence with established policies and procedures, time-out procedures, and infection control standards.
- Flexibility to share call duties and to perform other duties and innovations as assigned.
