Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of CT experience and Philips equipment proficiency.
Details
- Located in the Imaging department of a tertiary teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center
- Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts
- One weekend requirement per month
- Possible on-call requirements
- Uses Cerner EMR
- Performs CT scanning procedures including contrast media administration
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
- Philips equipment experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Compact license not accepted
- Ability to transfer and position patients using safe lifting techniques
- Ability to monitor patients for allergic reactions and respond to emergencies including basic CPR
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient setup, contrast administration, image capture and quality control, and assisting radiologists with specialized procedures
- Navy blue scrubs required as dress code
- First-time travelers considered
- Candidates within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with adjusted pay rates
- Former full-time employees of the health system are not eligible for contract hire within six months of their employment end date
- Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO)
