Manna Support Services is a Connecticut home care agency. We help people live safely and independently in their own communities, at home, at work, and out in their day-to-day lives.
About the role
We're looking for a caregiver to help one of our clients keep their home running smoothly during the week. The work follows a steady weekly rhythm: laundry, meals, a cleaning list, and a shopping list, with reminders and hands-on help along the way. This is a good fit for someone who's organized, comfortable with everyday household tasks, and respectful of working in someone else's home.
What you'll do
- Assist with laundry
- Help prepare meals
- Work through a weekly house cleaning list
- Help put together a weekly shopping list
- Offer reminders and hands-on assistance with general home upkeep
- Cover occasional Saturday hours when the schedule shifts for weather
What we're looking for
- Comfortable with everyday household tasks: laundry, cooking, and light cleaning
- Organized and good with routines and checklists
- Flexible enough to pick up an occasional Saturday
- A patient, respectful approach to working in someone's home
- Able to pass a background check
- Caregiving experience is a plus, but not required. We'll train the right person
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified
