This role supports a wide range of clerical, data, and record management responsibilities essential to agency operations. The position ensures accurate processing, tracking, and communication across multiple program areas.
As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Record Processing: Process payments, applications, reports, authorizations, and environmental covenants accurately across multiple systems
- Data Entry: Enter, update, and verify information in eFACTS and other electronic data systems while meeting data quality standards
- Correspondence Support: Prepare, type, finalize, print, scan, and distribute letters, notices, and other documents for program areas
- Mail Management: Review incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail, and ensure proper distribution and documentation for all sections
- Public Interaction: Screen phone calls, handle routine inquiries, gather documents for Right-to-Know requests, and support front-desk operations
- Tracking Duties: Maintain, update, and track reports, bulletins, forms, and files to support program operations and compliance

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time Telework eligible after successful completion of training/ probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Williamsport, PA. Telework arrangements are subject to change. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
