Mobile Sonographer - General/Vascular | Full-Time

We are seeking a Mobile Sonographer to provide ultrasound services at nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other patient locations throughout the assigned service area. The sonographer will travel to patient locations, perform diagnostic exams, and send images digitally for interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform portable ultrasound examinations using mobile equipment.
• Travel to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other assigned locations.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and transmit them to a Radiologist.
• Verify patient identity and exam orders before performing procedures.
• Maintain accurate exam documentation and billing paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch, healthcare staff, patients, and management.
• Maintain the company vehicle and ultrasound equipment.
• Respond to urgent communications promptly.
• Work independently while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
• Train other technologists when needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program.
• General and Vascular ultrasound experience required.
• ARDMS or CCI registration required.
• ECHO experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Comfortable traveling to multiple patient locations.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills.
• Basic smartphone and computer skills.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or approved exemption documentation.
• Limited licenses are not accepted.
