Pain Management: Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a healthcare team in Grangeville, Idaho. This role focuses primarily on chronic pain management, providing diagnosis, treatment, medication management, and follow-up care under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, and long-term medical conditions, with a focus on chronic pain.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and manage prescribed medications.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment options, preventive care, and medication use.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and timely documentation in the EHR.
• Participate in quality improvement programs, peer reviews, and clinical meetings.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, documentation standards, and applicable regulations.
  

Requirements:

• Current unrestricted Idaho NP or PA license.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration.
• Controlled Substance Certificate from the Idaho Board of Pharmacy.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain medical staff privileges.
• Experience in pain management or chronic pain care preferred.
