Job Summary
CT Technologist Location: Not Specified. This role involves performing general radiology and computed tomography procedures in an acute care setting. The technologist will be responsible for completing paperwork, conducting morning quality assurance, and adhering to departmental protocols.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, Experience, and Location Requirements: ARRT license required. Registered in (R)(CT) is preferred, but considered acceptable with extensive CT experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiology, including at least 2 years specifically in computed tomography. The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience performing CT scans and X-rays independently and be skilled in handling trauma cases.
- Schedule: Monday-Wednesday night shifts (three 13-hour shifts) from 5:30 pm to 7:00 am, with rotating Thursday night and weekend call responsibilities approximately once per month, occasionally twice.
- Additional Job Responsibilities: Perform procedures utilizing GE Optima 64 slice CT scanner and Konica X-ray room, orient to departmental protocols, equipment, and computer systems, and work independently in a trauma-heavy environment.
- Required Certifications: BLS Certification.
- Other Requirements: Must badge in and out at the facility, wear gray scrubs, and provide a Rad badge. Experience with EPIC charting system is necessary. Licenses must be submitted for review.
- Shift or Schedule Requirements: Variable days with different shift times (7-5:30, 7:30-6, 8:00-6:30, or 8:30-7), totaling 40 hours per week, with a start date of 11/16/2026 and end date of 02/15/2027.
