Barton House is a 20-bed Personal Care Home specializing in caring for residents living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Our smaller community allows our team to build meaningful relationships with each resident while providing individualized, person-centered care in a warm, family-like environment. 

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Resident Care Assistants/CNA's who have a passion for serving seniors and making a positive difference every day. 

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activies of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and person-centered care while promoting each residents dignity and independence.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and snacks.
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents physical, emotional, or cognitive condition to the nurse or supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights.
• Encourage social interaction and meaningful engagement with residents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Follow infection control procedures and Barton House policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and fellow team members to provide exceptional. 

Qualifications

• Experience in assisted living, personal care, long term care, or memory care if preferred.
• Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well as part of the team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
