Position: Chemical Defense Researcher
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65–$75 per task
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry and chemical safety, labeled as benign, dual-use, and adversarial.
• Evaluate AI model responses against defined policy standards to ensure correct handling.
• Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to draw reliable lines between routine and dangerous queries.
• Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Experience in chemical defense research at institutions like USAMRICD, DoD, or CDC.
• Background in toxicology of chemical warfare agents and medical countermeasure development.
• Expertise in decontamination, protection, and detection research for chemical threats.
• Experience with CWC-related work such as verification and destruction.
• Strong technical writing skills with prior experience or published research.
