Position: Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $700 per task
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Design realistic scenarios from your work. Create technical accounting memos, technical accounting schedules, SEC filings (10-K / 10-Q), footnotes, and disclosures. Apply new and complex ASC standards to transactions.
• Review and compare AI-generated technical outputs. Ensure standards-accurate conclusions and defensible support.
• Provide clear written feedback. Improve how AI reasons about technical accounting.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the research team. Ensure effective communication and progress.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Big 4 or public-company technical accounting / SEC reporting background
• Deep, hands-on ASC exposure (606, 842, 718, 805)
• CPA
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong written communication and attention to detail
