Hiring Local CDL-A Hazmat Drivers in Davenport, IA!.

About the Job:

• Ruan is hiring Class A CDL drivers to be based in Davenport, IA, to haul auto parts in dry van trailers for our dedicated customer. For more information, please call our Recruiting Hotline at .

Pay:

• Get paid weekly earning activity-based pay at $.62 cents per mile and $35 per stop.
• Drivers are averaging $83,000 per year.
• We are also offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus with the first payment after 30 days!

Schedule:

• Enjoy a home-daily overnight schedule with departure days of Sunday–Thursday and Tuesday–Saturday schedules.
• Drivers work 5 days a week with 2 consecutive days off.
• Drivers will deliver a mix of multi-stop and shuttle deliveries. 
• Drivers average 42 hours per week.

Equipment:

• Drivers are operating new automatic late-model Freightliner sleepers.
• This position requires driver unload at each stop using a lift gate and electric pallet jack.
• Hazmat is required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 22 years or older
• No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
• No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
• With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at before being hired
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
• Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
