Job Description
Picture your day on our final test floor: you arrive to a queue of finished structures, units, and panels awaiting their last checkpoint. You build a test plan, power up systems, and move through mechanical, electrical, insulation, and sequence checks. With diagrams and schematics in hand, you verify every connection, confirm calibration, and document results. When something isn’t right, you trace the fault, collaborate with Engineering and Quality, and see corrective actions through before anything ships.
What you’ll do- Create and execute test plans for electrical components, controls, panel-boards, and assemblies to verify functional performance.
- Set up equipment by following drawings, specifications, and written or verbal work instructions.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, insulation, and sequence testing; inspect assemblies, panels, and component parts for quality and operation.
- Troubleshoot test failures, identify root cause, and coordinate fixes with Engineering, Quality, and supervision.
- Confirm orders are complete and support customer inspectors during witness testing and inspections.
- Recommend improvements to assembly, wiring, calibration, and testing procedures; ensure changes and repairs are completed.
- Maintain test equipment, track calibration status, and keep accurate records and reports.
- Follow all safety, PPE, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years of experience in power distribution or electrical distribution environments.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Geography and relocation: No relocation is available. Only applicants within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred qualifications- Associate’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology/Engineering, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience specifically focused on reading and interpreting schematics.
- Experience working with open and energized electrical equipment in a testing environment.
- Electrical Troubleshooting Skills
- Electrical Systems Diagnostics & Repair
- Electrical / Electronic Systems

Your success will come from meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and clear communication when partnering with engineering and quality teams.
