Customer Service Representative (Temporary)

Summary

Provide support to the Customer Service Department through order entry, document management, invoicing, and customer portal activities. This position supports the team by performing routine, process-driven tasks in a fast-paced office environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into company systems accurately and timely.
• Process and distribute order acknowledgments, confirmations, and invoices.
• Upload and download documents through customer portals.
• Maintain customer records and filing systems.
• Assist with tracking open orders and updating order status information.
• Verify order information for completeness and accuracy.
• Support the Customer Service team with administrative tasks as assigned.
• Assist with preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and departmental records.
• Participate in maintaining organized office and customer service processes.

Qualifications

• Prior office, administrative, customer service, or data entry experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow established procedures and work independently.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the office and warehouse as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment

Work is performed primarily in an office environment with occasional access to warehouse areas.
