**Join Our Team as a Night CAT Scan Tech!** **Job Description** - Are you a skilled CAT Scan Tech looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? - Join our dynamic team working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, where you will play a crucial role in patient care. - Under the guidance of the Radiologist and CT Supervisor, you will perform CT procedures in alignment with department protocols. - Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment while conducting a range of technical procedures including interventional cases, CT Angiography, and advanced 3D reconstruction. - Employ your judgment and ingenuity to apply ionizing radiation, all while adhering to the ALARA principle for CT diagnostics. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** - Promote and support the mission and values of our organization. - Acquire scans in accordance with protocols set by radiologists. - Educate patients about procedures and provide instructions for cooperation. - Assist radiologists during interventional procedures. - Coordinate daily workloads and prioritize cases in emergency and outpatient settings. - Review and ensure patient safety during IV contrast administration. - Maintain meticulous documentation in Epic EMR. - Ensure exam completeness in PACS before submission to the radiologist. - Stay flexible to support 24/7 departmental coverage. - Arrive promptly for all shifts, including on-call, weekends, and holidays. - Engage in mandatory learning, competencies, and CEUs as needed. - Adhere to dress code and maintain HIPAA compliance. - Keep your workspace clean and stocked with necessary supplies. - Fulfill other related duties as assigned. **Job Requirements** - Current ARRT certification is a must. - NH Imaging License and BLS Certification required. - Minimum of 3 years of CT Scan experience is essential. - Knowledge of CT Scan software (GE and Siemens preferred). - Familiarity with PACS software (McKesson Change Healthcare preferred). - Experience with Electronic Medical Records (Epic preferred). - Strong skills in patient preparation, positioning, and scan acquisition per protocol. - Ability to identify anatomy, pathology, and contrast enhancement on imaging. - Gather relevant patient history to confirm medical necessity. - Always strive to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. - Understanding of daily QA and warm-up processes for CT equipment. - Capability to troubleshoot CT equipment issues as they arise. **Working Conditions/Physical Demands** - Must possess the physical and mental abilities for tasks associated with this role. - Frequent combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. - Ability to lift/carry up to 35 pounds regularly, and occasionally 50 pounds. - Some stress due to the high level of responsibility for quality care. **Americans with Disabilities Statement** - Must be able to perform all essential functions of this position with reasonable accommodation if disabled. - The above statements reflect the general nature and level of work performed but are not exhaustive of all duties and skills. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
