Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Long Term Care assignment requiring 2+ years of PT experience in an LTC setting and a TX or compact license.

- Minimum 2 years of PT experience in a Long Term Care setting required
- TX or compact license required

Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient evaluations, individualized treatment planning, ongoing reassessment, and discharge planning
- Supervises and delegates to ancillary staff and students consistent with state laws and department policy
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation in compliance with accreditation and insurance requirements
- Communicates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to support treatment goals
- Participates in patient and family education, quality improvement, and professional development activities
- Maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
- Functions within the scope of practice defined by the state practice act
- Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
