Description
American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist with 1+ year of experience to provide rehabilitation services to a diverse patient population including pediatric and geriatric cases.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Patient population includes lymphedema, pediatric, and geriatric cases
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift schedule with options of 5x8-hour shifts (7:30-16:00) or 4x10-hour shifts (7:30-18:00, Tues-Fri)
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with any charting system required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- CPSI experience preferred
Additional Information
- Duties include assessment, evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, and discharge documentation
- Skills include lifting and transfer, patient/family education, and safety/injury prevention
- Experience with adaptive equipment assessment, orthopedic conditions, and pediatric neurodevelopmental treatment preferred
- Familiarity with modalities such as electrical stimulation, lymphedema management, splinting, and ultrasound preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- RTO must be submitted with initial profile
- Holiday RTO restrictions apply during Christmas and New Year's
- Pending license accepted with proof of application at submission, active license required by orientation
- Completion of a glucometer exam required prior to start
