Cath Lab Technologist
A Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. This role requires a high level of technical skill and patient care, focusing on adult and geriatric patients with various cardiovascular conditions.
Schedule- 4x10 Hour Shifts: 06:30 AM - 05:00 PM and/or 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM
- No call, no weekends, and no major holidays
- Conduct diagnostic catheterizations and hemodynamic monitoring
- Perform left and right heart catheterizations
- Assist with permanent pacemaker insertion (PPI) and temporary pacemaker procedures
- Prepare and stock supplies for procedures
- Circulate during procedures and maintain a sterile field
- Implement interventions such as insertion/programming of AICDs and stent placements
- Conduct angioplasty, aortography, pelvic arteriography, and pulmonary arteriography
- Perform dialysis graft interventions, including fistulograms and declots
- Administer fluoroscopy and ensure accurate patient monitoring
- Conduct EKG lead placement and prep access sites
- Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and execute isolation precautions
- Utilize the rapid response team when necessary
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
- One prior travel assignment experience is required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT CI, ARRT VI, CCI RCIS (will accept ARRT or RCIS)
- Proficient in diagnostic catheterizations and various interventional procedures
- Experience with adult patients dealing with CAD, PVD, and cancer diagnoses

The Cath Lab Technologist works closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality outcomes for patients undergoing cardiovascular interventions.
