Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience and a TX or compact SLP license for a long-term care nursing facility assignment.

  • Long-term care nursing facility setting with 102 beds
  • Speech Language Pathology unit
  • Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
  • No weekend requirements
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of SLP experience required
  • Valid TX SLP license or compact license required, if applicable
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and decrease aspiration risk
  • Implement communication treatment plans to help residents be better understood and understand others
  • Lead, guide, and direct delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Ensure services align with established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate resident care
