Marine Designers - Piping, Mechanical or HVAC

CTR Group is seeking 3 experienced Marine Designers - Piping, Mechanical or HVAC, in the Hampton, VA area for a long-term government project!

Pay Range: $35 - $50 per Hour Plus Benefits.

SUMMARY:

Seeking up to three Piping/Mechanical/OR HVAC designers to work out of our Hampton, VA facilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4 years of experience or more, preferably in the Planning Yard/Overhaul design for USN Surface Combatants (DDG, CVN, LHD, LHA6, LPD, LCS, etc.).
• Experience with Ship Installation Drawing development.
• Technical quality checking,
• AutoCAD 2D, Shipchecking.
• Must be able to travel CONUS (San Diego, local to Norfolk) and OCONUS (Japan) occasionally.
• Existing clearance is required to obtain CAC for base and ship access. One within two years, even if not currently sponsored, would be workable.
