JOB IS LOCATED IN THE ALBANY, NY REGION. RELOCATION PKG. IS PROVIDED.
Premier printing and marketing company in upstate NY is expanding operations. They are hiring for an experienced Printing VP of Operations.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and manage all aspects of plant operations from print manufacturing to warehousing, fulfillment and shipping operations with close interactions with sales and client services with 15 direct reports and 100+ indirect.
Practice Lean Manufacturing techniques, improving the quality and efficiency of the work by studying, evaluating and re-configuring processes.
Continually review KPI's and make appropriate changes for improvements and increase efficiency.
Make sure proper procedures and employee training programs are in place for successful employee development.
Build effective teams through all phases of manufacturing.
Research and advise on new technologies.
P&L and budgeting responsibilities.
Work closely with C level management on strategic development.
Develop and implement growth opportunities.
Qualifications Include:
Minimum 8 - 10 years' manufacturing/operations management experience in the offset printing and/or digital printing industry.
Minimum 15 years' leadership experience in offset sheetfed and/or digital printing operations.
Experience managing multiple manufacturing sites a plus.
Budgeting and P&L experience.
Strong leadership skills including communicating work flow, coaching, mentoring, and staff development.
Proven track record utilizing Lean Manufacturing Practices to improve bottom line and reduce waste and down time.
Cohesive team building experience.
Strong communication skills.
