Program Supervisor for Seniors - Bilingual Spanish

The Senior Program Supervisor plays a proactive role in assisting active and at–risk seniors in accessing and participating in the Senior Center. This position also coordinates referrals for the senior program. This position works directly with participants, volunteers, staff, bilingual Social Services Coordinator and community-based organizations to plan programs and activities, screen and coordinate services provided by others, and act as a liaison to the broader community. This position coordinates a large variety of recreational activities, a daily congregate meal, weekly food pantry, and onsite social services. This position requires a flexible and independent work style and a strong team/group ethic. This position requires demonstrated experience in coordinating community services for residents, program planning, effective interpersonal skills, and active team participation.

Two year experience working with seniors and disabled adults preferred. Experience working with volunteers, social work, gerontology, group facilitation, and recreational activities.
