Caregiver Needed

We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support an older adult in a Tullahoma family home. The primary focus is personal care assistance, companionship, and supervision, with occasional local errands and appointment support. The caregiver will report to a family member and help promote the individual’s comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assistance.
• Prepare basic meals and provide meal assistance as needed.
• Offer medication reminders and medication assistance.
• Provide companionship and supervision.
• Monitor safety and observe changes in condition.
• Assist with household tasks and occasional local errands.
• Support appointments as needed.
• Document care and communicate updates with the family member.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of caregiving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience with ADL assistance, medication assistance, basic meal preparation, and care documentation.
• Strong observation skills, empathy, and communication abilities.
