Requirements Engineer

Job Responsibilities
*System Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop system architectures, subsystems, and components for defense and aerospace systems. This involves understanding and analyzing system requirements, conducting feasibility studies, and creating design specifications.

*System Integration: Coordinate and oversee the integration of various subsystems, components, and technologies to ensure proper functionality and interoperability. This includes conducting system testing, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective measures.

*System Lifecycle Management: Support system lifecycle management activities, including system upgrades, configuration management, and maintenance planning. Monitor system performance, assess operational issues, and propose improvements or enhancements.

*Requirements Management: Define, document, and manage system requirements throughout the entire development lifecycle. This involves capturing stakeholder needs, analyzing and allocating requirements, and maintaining traceability between system elements.

*Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with system design, integration, and operation. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks, ensure system safety, and enhance reliability.

*Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate and comprehensive technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, test plans, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

*Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment of project goals and objectives. Participate in meetings, reviews, and presentations.

*Verification and Validation: Plan and execute verification and validation activities to ensure that the developed systems meet the specified requirements and performance metrics. This includes developing test procedures, conducting tests, analyzing results, and documenting findings.
