Job Description

Our amazing apartment community in Greensboro, NC is in need of a Maintenance/Renovation Technician to join our Maintenance Team. This position is responsible for the completion of renovated and rehabilitated apartment units.


This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and generous benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance plus 401k, flex spending account, and paid time off.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop project scope and renovation specifications for each unit scheduled for rehab
  • Work with Property Manager/Supervisor to determine budget, materials and supplies needed, vendors required and schedule for completion of each unit
  • Complete renovation of each unit consistent with company quality standards, budgets, and timelines
  • Complete make ready checklist and submit to office with keys to unit ready for move in
  • Complete all administrative requirements and forms accurately and in accordance with established property deadlines (i.e. timeclock, logs, checklists, etc.)
  • Maintain and utilize tools, equipment, and vehicles in a clean, orderly, and safe manner and follow established procedures for accessing/returning tools and other materials from the maintenance shop
  • Comply with all safety policies including utilizing required safety equipment and participate in routine safety inspections, alerting Property Manager/Supervisor of any safety hazards immediately
  • Comply with policies and procedures laid out in the property Operations and Maintenance plan manuals kept on-site
  • Participate in and meet deadlines for all mandatory training programs
  • May be required to assist at other Priderock Capital Management Properties upon request
  • All other duties as assigned


Qualifications & Skills

  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and interact with managers/supervisors, co-workers, residents, and vendors
  • Proven experience performing renovations required; property maintenance role at an apartment community highly preferred
  • Proven experience with appliances, plumbing, electrical systems required
  • Knowledge of location of gas, electric, irrigation and water shut offs required
  • Availability to respond and perform on call rotations required
  • Ability to perform tasks in an orderly and timely manner and work effectively on a team contributing to team goals
