Housekeeper

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeping Technician to join our team in a precast concrete manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the production floor, restrooms, and break areas. This is a physically demanding position in a large, non-climate-controlled manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, shovel, and remove concrete debris, dust, wood chips, and other materials from production areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, break rooms, walkways, and common areas.
• Operate wheelbarrows and other equipment to transport debris and waste materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for plant employees and visitors.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
• Assist with general housekeeping tasks and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed.
• Comfortable working in a large manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
• Steel-toe boots required.
• Must wear a hard hat and high-visibility vest while on the production floor.
• Prior industrial, manufacturing, housekeeping, or general labor experience is a plus but not required.
