Appliance Helper

LaborMAX Staffing is seeking an Appliance Helper for a temp-to-hire opportunity starting at $15 per hour. This role supports the handling, delivery, positioning, and installation of residential and commercial appliances while working under the direction of a Lead Installer or Installation Manager. The position includes a balanced mix of delivery and installation support, with opportunities for installer training and progression to Lead Installer.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload residential and commercial appliances.
• Support appliance deliveries and installation activities.
• Assist with appliance positioning and equipment placement.
• Use hand tools during installation and repair support.
• Provide material-handling and delivery support.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in repairs, handyman work, or installation.
• Comfort using hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening.
• Resume required for consideration.
• Good work boots and gloves required.

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more years of experience supporting appliance installations.
• Experience with appliance installation, material handling, or basic repair.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
• Physical strength for appliance handling.
• Teamwork and reliability.
