Box Truck - Delivery Driver / Class C

As a Box Truck Delivery Driver / Class C, you will safely operate company vehicles and lead delivery teams in transporting, setting, and striking event rental equipment at warehouses, customer locations, and various job sites. This fast-paced role involves equipment preparation, loading and unloading, customer service, and teamwork in changing conditions and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Direct delivery teams as they deliver, set, and strike event rental equipment at assigned job sites.
• Prepare and count rental equipment as part of the delivery process.
• Load and unload vehicles and trucks at the warehouse and job sites.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate with the delivery team at each assigned location.
• Assist customers through the order fulfillment process in a polite, friendly, and professional manner.
• Work flexible schedules that may include early mornings, nights, weekends, split shifts, extended hours, and occasional overnight stays.
• Fill in for other positions or perform additional duties as requested to support smooth business operations.

Required Qualifications

• Current California Driver’s License, Class C, with a satisfactory driving record.
• Relevant driving experience.
• Ability to work effectively with team members, including delegating tasks.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, when required.
• Willingness to observe and uphold company culture and follow all written and verbal company policies, procedures, and rules.
• Willingness to work until the job is complete, including beyond the scheduled shift when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Open availability, including flexibility for unplanned schedule changes and shifts that may run longer or shorter than anticipated.

Most work takes place at various job sites and in the warehouse, with regular interaction with the public. The position is fast-paced and physically demanding and may involve exposure to local weather conditions, as well as work in areas without heating or air conditioning.
