Driver --Non Emergency

As a driver, you will operate company vehicles (including sedans, wheelchair vans / ambulettes]) to transport elderly, disabled, or mobility-challenged passengers. This is more than just a driving job—it is a specialized service focused on safety, patience, and high-quality customer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Transport: Drive passengers safely and efficiently to and from medical facilities, sticking to scheduled route times.
• Passenger Assistance: Provide door to door assistance. Safely assist, secure, and transport passengers using wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility aids.
• Vehicle Readiness: Complete daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle.
• Digital Logging: Properly log trip details, pickup times, and mileage.
• Professional Care: Treat every passenger with the utmost respect, empathy, and patience.

Required Qualifications & Skills.

• Driving Record: Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and no recent major violations. Previous NEMT driving experience prefered.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 25 years old
• Background Checks: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check (BCI), sex offender registry check, and database screenings.
• Drug Screening: Willingness to pass a pre-employment drug test and participate in random drug screening programs.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50/70 pounds, and comfortably secure wheelchairs.
• Certifications: Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification (or a willingness to complete training before your first shift).
