Staff Up is currently recruiting for a Cable Production Line Operator to join a leading manufacturer specializing in PVC wire and cable products.

Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Dallas, TX

Overtime: May be required based on production volume

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cable Production Line Operator with manufacturing experience to operate cable production equipment and ensure products meet quality standards.

Candidates with experience in PVC wire and cable manufacturing, insulation extrusion, wire twisting/cabling, or jacket extrusion are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Operate insulation extrusion, twisting/cabling, and jacket extrusion production equipment.
• Operate pay-off stands, extruders, cooling troughs, take-up machines, and related equipment.
• Load raw materials such as copper and plastic according to work instructions.
• Set up, adjust, and monitor production machinery.
• Perform in-line quality inspections, including diameter, surface condition, insulation, printing, pitch, and lay length.
• Record production and inspection information accurately.
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Follow all SOPs and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• PVC wire and cable manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with extrusion, twisting, cabling, or jacket extrusion processes.
• Ability to read production drawings and specifications.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, or other measurement tools.
• Basic computer/ERP/MES system experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting skills.
• Basic English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime as needed based on production volume.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
