Full Time Housekeeping

The hotel housekeeping position is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary and welcoming guest rooms and common areas. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail- oriented and committed to providing a high standard of cleanliness and guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Room Cleaning: Make beds, change linens, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop hard floors.
• Bathroom Sanitation: Clean and sanitize showers, toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and restock fresh towels.
• Restocking Amenities: Replenish toiletries, coffee, tissues, and promotional items.
• Waste Removal: Empty trash containers and replace liners in guest rooms and service areas.
• Maintenance Reporting: Check rooms for damage or broken fixtures and report maintenance issues immediately.
• Public Areas: Help maintain clean hallways, elevators, lobbies, and linen closets.

Qualifications and Skills

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 40 pounds), push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on cleanliness and safety guidelines.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic with flexible schedule, dependable weekend and holiday availability.
• Experience: Previous commercial or residential cleaning experience is preferred, though entry-level candidates are often trained on-site.
