Job Description
Summary As a Preschool Teacher-Floater, you will be responsible for supporting teachers create a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Utilizing core skills such as classroom management, lesson planning, and communication, you will support learning experiences that promote early childhood development.

Support staff as they implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool students. - Help manage classroom activities and ensure a safe and nurturing environment. - Utilize effective communication skills to interact with students, and colleagues. Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities. - Collaborate with colleagues to assess student progress and address individual learning needs.
Requirements: Strong evidence of faith and devotion to Jesus Christ and His Church Ability to provide educational and spiritual leadership, supporting the preschool philosophy. Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills. Fingerprint clearance, current pediatric CPR and First Aid certification. Proof of good health and negative TB test. Adequate vision, hearing, and mobility to safely supervise children. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Valid California driver’s license. Education: 28 ECE units of CD/ECE units, including the required 12 core ECE units for teachers in licensed facilities. For those who have attained the 12 core ECE units, this requirement may be amended at the discretion of the Director, with the agreement that the teacher will finish the required 28 units at his/her expense. Infant/Toddler units required.
