Maintenance Technician II plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of pipeline facilities. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in electrical and control systems who are eager to grow their skills in a dynamic environment.
As you develop, you’ll gain operational competencies to progress toward becoming a Level I Station Operator—building a well-rounded understanding of both technical and operational aspects of compressor stations.
What You Will Do
- Maintain electrical systems and equipment (switchgear, motors, generators, pumps, fans).
- Support DC electrical systems (batteries, chargers, rectifiers, inverters).
- Work with PLCs, HMIs, and control networks.
- Maintain safety systems including ESD panels, gas detectors, and flame detectors.
- Assist in planning work and contributing to budget-related processes.
- Ensure compliance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of station systems.
Who You Are
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of electrical/instrumentation experience in an industrial setting.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Preferred: Associate degree in a relevant technical field.
Working Conditions
- Physically demanding activities in all weather conditions.
- Must reside within 30 miles of reporting location.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, shifts, and travel overnight as required.
- Desire to learn and advance as an Electrical Controls Technician.
