The Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, focusing on achieving company metrics, maintaining exemplary service culture, and ensuring high standards in store presentation and organization. Leading a small team of 1-10 employees, the Store Manager collaborates with the District Manager on recruitment and training to build a productive team dedicated to excellent customer service and consistent operational execution. This role requires occasional overnight travel and flexibility to meet business needs during peak hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Hold self and team accountable to performance and behavior standards
  • Manage staff scheduling to ensure optimal sales floor coverage during key business times
  • Drive team to meet financial, revenue, and expense targets through sales monitoring and analysis
  • Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding of management and store personnel
  • Maintain staffing levels to meet business demands while promoting associate retention
  • Provide consistent coaching, feedback, and performance management to maximize team output
  • Partner on individual development plans to foster career growth
  • Recognize and appreciate superior performance publicly and privately
  • Delegate projects to enhance general management skills of direct reports
  • Manage merchandise receiving processes and related documentation
  • Implement product placement, marketing, and promotional strategies
  • Respond promptly to company and district communications
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum two years retail Store Manager experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four years retail store management experience in an apparel-driven environment
  • Retail management expertise
  • Strong team leadership and customer service skills
  • Effective time management and communication abilities
  • Coaching and inventory management experience
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, high-energy settings
