Job Summary
CT Technologist CT Location remote from specific facility details available. This role involves performing computerized tomography (CT) procedures to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data. The qualified candidate will verify patient identity, assist patients and their families, and ensure safety protocols are followed during imaging procedures.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days shift, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Certifications, Education, Degree, and Experience Requirements: Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science, registration with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible, advanced certification in CT, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in CT. Successful candidates must become registered within one year of employment and maintain their registry status and continuing education requirements annually.
  • Performs computerized tomography (CT) scans, including multi-planar and 3D reconstruction, using protocols and algorithms, and manipulates images accordingly.
  • Administers oral and IV contrast following established protocols, establishes intravenous lines, checks lab values, and determines contrast eligibility.
  • Maintains thorough understanding of Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and transmits images to Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, verifies accuracy, and manages orders efficiently.
  • Produces high-quality diagnostic images, reviews patient charts and reports for correlation, and maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Prepares and mentors new employees and students, and volunteers for challenging procedures and research tasks.
  • Knowledge and experience with Siemens CT equipment are preferred.
