Description
American Traveler is hiring a Multi-Modality CT Technologist with ARRT certification who is proficient in both X-ray and CT imaging for a night shift position in a critical access hospital setting.
Details
- Critical access hospital with 25 beds located in Northern California
- Uses Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR
- Performs at least two imaging modalities on a regular basis, including x-ray and CT
- Night shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT certification required
- RT license in state of practice required (license required if applicable)
- Certification in two advanced modalities (CT, Mammography, MRI, or Sonography) preferred
- Three years of technical experience preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred
Additional Information
- Performs radiographic and computed tomography procedures consistent with experience level
- Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs
- Tests defibrillator and checks integrity of crash cart
- Performs mobile imaging examinations including radiographic and fluoroscopic exams as necessary
- Safely prepares contrast agents for medical imaging procedures
- Accepts local candidates with no radius rule, local rates same as travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
